Restaurant La Zucca Magica

Phone: +33 (0)4 93 56 25 27
“The magic pumpkin” is a local bistro that has become a staple when it comes to dining out in Nice. The menu is unique in that it changes daily and only serves traditional or revisited Italian vegetarian specialties. Be sure to book ahead or come early to grab a seat and be entertained by Chef Marco’s ‘magical’ personality and the delicious food.

Cour Saleya Market

The Cour Saleya Market is the biggest and most famous market in Nice. Come bright and early to avoid the masses and enjoy the wonderful aromas and beautiful colors. Try a Nicois Socca, a pancake of sorts made with chickpea flower, olive oil and cooked in a wooden burning oven. You can find this market open early from Tuesdays to Sundays. Come back on Mondays as the market becomes an art and antiques fair.

Old Town

‘Vieux Ville’ or old town of Nice is an area that must be visited. Make sure you free up the most part of a day to wander through the narrow winding streets and take in the sights and sounds. The cobble stone streets are lined with old colorful buildings with red-tile roofs and packed with local shops and restaurants.
